Site descriptions
We provide one scenic camping site - Bürgerablage - for tents and caravans directly on the banks of river Havel in Berlin-Spandau. A bathing beach is in easy reach of the camping site. The pitches are on grass and/or partially under trees. They are situated in a natural environment and are subject to nature conservation and drinking-water protection regulations (q. v. Site Rules). Therefore we only have basic facilities. Toilets for handicapped persons is available on Bürgerablage. A playground is on the camping sits. Grilling is allowed. You should use the public car park in front of the site.
Reservation is advisable; please call +49 (0)30 3354584 for Bürgerablage. You receive a reservation confirmation by telephone or on request by fax. We do not charge any reservation and cancellation fees.
Directions
The camping site Bürgerablage is located in the north of Spandau. Follow the motorway A10 (Berliner Ring) in western direction and take the exit no. 26 Berlin-Spandau. Stay on this road which is called B5/Hamburger Chaussee and later Heerstraße. At the intersection Heerstraße/Gatower Straße turn left. The road changes its name several times until you reach a roundabout called Falkenseer Platz. Take the second exit, Neuendorfer Straße. After Streitstraße it calls Niederneuendorfer Allee. Shortly after Papenberger Weg, you have to be careful not to miss a little dirt road on the right hand side which leads to the camping site. Look for sign-posts pointing to Bürgerablage and/or restaurant Jagdhaus.
Public transportation services (BVG): Take the bus 136 which starts from the S- Spandau/U-Rathaus Spandau and get off at the stop Bürgerablage.
Nearby
Adjacent to the camping site is the restaurant "Jagdhaus" offering German home-style cooking. The camping site has its own little landing stage. Shops for your daily supplies and cash dispensers are in the centre of Spandau
Local attractions
The shopping centre Spandau Arcaden is directly at the Spandau railway and underground station. It also has a spa and a bowling centre with 16 alleys. Vis-à-vis the shopping centre is the beautiful Old Town of Spandau.
